Application: It is applied directly at 0.5 to 0.75% by volume.

Uses and applications: Used in cooling water in closed systems such as boxcoolers, to prevent internal corrosion of pipelines using seawater. For hydrostatic testing of pipes, tanks and valves. Desalination plants, paper industry, ballast tanks with no or poor coating and in general in aqueous environments where chloride concentration is critical.

Uses and applications: This product is used for internal protection of closed-loop cooling water piping using ferrous or non-ferrous fresh water. For low temperature applications, VpCI-649 Winterized, which has a freezing point of -36.4 °F (-38 °C), is recommended.
